Whether you’re just considering social media for business or if you’re already well-established in social media (with active accounts on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest and a number of niche social sites), these are the three most important aspects to consider when sharing anything in the medium:
- Above all else, be RELEVANT, to your readers/followers and their constituencies.
- ENGAGE — ask questions, invite comments, encourage your audience to interact with you. There’s a reason the medium is labelled Social.
- Be FRESH. No-one wants to share stale news.
